QR Guide is operated by Manystack Kft ("we"), the data controller for the data described here.
When you join the waitlist we collect your name, work email, company or brand name, how many properties you manage, and optionally which property management system you use.
We use this to:
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form and confirm your email address. After you submit the form we send you one confirmation email, and you join the list only when you click the link in it. That confirmation email is a one-time service message and carries no unsubscribe link. Every later email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing withdraws your consent and removes you from the list. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
The property count and PMS answers are used only to prioritize and segment the list and our research. They are never shared or used for anything else.
Research participation. From time to time we invite waitlist members and other accommodation professionals to take part in short product research, such as pricing and feature-value questionnaires. Taking part is always optional, and declining has no effect on your place on the waitlist. Responses are processed by Manystack Kft under this policy and on the infrastructure described in Section 3. Because retention differs from study to study, the period that applies to a given questionnaire is stated in the invitation and on the questionnaire itself. Where we invite a professional who is not on the waitlist, the invitation rests on our legitimate interest in researching our market with the people working in it (Article 6(1)(f)), and taking part rests on your consent.
US providers are engaged under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where certified, and otherwise under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
qrguide.app uses two kinds of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and are always on. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only if you accept them in the consent banner shown on your first visit, and the site works exactly the same if you decline. Once analytics is in use you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Until then the site sets strictly necessary cookies only and shows no banner. Legal basis for analytics cookies: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) together with the ePrivacy rules). We set no marketing or advertising cookies.
If you do not confirm your email address within 30 days of signing up, we delete the unconfirmed sign-up. Confirmed waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe, or until 24 months after launch if you never convert to a customer, whichever comes first. Suppression records of unsubscribes are kept so we do not contact you again.
You can access, rectify, and erase your data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and request portability, by writing to privacy@qrguide.app. We respond within one month. You can complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or your own member state's authority.
The site and waitlist are for professionals and are not directed at children.
Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
